From yarn to object
01 — DESIGN &
DEVELOPMENT
Every project begins with a dialogue. We work directly with your brief — adapting dimensions, patterns, and colorways, or developing an entirely original design from scratch. Our in-house design team translates your vision into technical drawings before a single thread is prepared.
02 — YARN SELECTION & DYEING
We source premium wool and blended yarns, selected for their texture, resilience, and dye affinity. All colour mixing and dyeing is handled by authorized dyeing partners, using only lowimpact dyes — free from endocrine disruptors, heavy metals, and harmful compounds. REACH certified. Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified.
03 — HAND TUFTING
Using tufting guns guided by skilled hands, our craftsmen work the design onto a stretched backing cloth, row by row. This technique allows for extraordinary detail and sculptural depth — while remaining adaptable to virtually any shape, format, or pile height.
04 — CARVING & TEXTURING
Once tufted, our craftsmen carve the pile by hand to reveal the relief, shadows, and contours embedded in the design. This stage is what gives Rugs & Riches pieces their sculptural character and tactile depth.
05 — WASHING & FINISHING
Each rug is washed, stretched, and dried under controlled conditions to lock the pile, stabilise the dimensions, and bring out the full richness of the colours. Finishing includes trimming, backing application, and a final quality inspection.
06 — QUALITY CONTROL & DELIVERY
Before shipping, every rug undergoes a final dimensional check, colour verification, and structural review. We pack to international export standards and coordinate delivery directly with your logistics requirements — because your deadline is our commitment.
